Parking

"The parking here is really good. See some people complaining about getting ticketed for backing in, but there are signs that specifically say to only park front in/not to back in. The self-pay is really nice since you can choose to pay for a couple of hours or a full day and there’s an app, so if you choose to pay for less and then extend your visit, you don’t have to go back up. I love coming here, especially when I’m planning on spending a lot of time at the beach, since it’s only $10 for the day."

"Beware of this parking lot! Not only do they charge $64 if you’re backed in, but the machines are finicky and if you put your card in after you put in your plate number, it will process and say “transaction completed”, which may make you think that a transaction has, in fact, taken place. Then they will charge you for not paying. We are visiting the area and have never encountered such a pay system and parking fine such as these. $150 dollars and a bucket full of trash from the beach later, we will NOT be back."

"This is the best place to park in Seal Beach. It’s always open has a self serve parking meter large parking spaces and puts you right in the sand. The problem with the metered parking lot off seal Beach Blvd is so tight that if one car isn’t all the way forward you can’t fit through."
