"Open 24 hours, staff is helpful and cheerful some of the time. I mean sure everyone has bad days but sheesh! The one lady can be a pistol if you get on her bad side I guess.... proceed with the utter most caution!"
"I went to this Chevron and paid for a $10 car wash and told the lady at the counter (Samira) that the wash was only polishing about 2/3 of the car last time I was there. She told me to let her know if there was still a problem. The car wash still wasn't working correctly so went back in and told her and she tells me that nobody else has complained. I told her that I'm complaining now. She tells me again that nobody else has complained. I described exactly what happened and that I didn't get what I paid for and she says that nobody else has complained. I was trying to have a conversation with her and all she would come back with each time was 'nobody else has complained'. I was not offered a rewash, refund or any kind of resolution. After hearing 'nobody else has complained' about 6 times and realizing that's all she could come up with as a reply and I wasn't going to have a normal conversation I left in frustration and she went back to watching tv. If you want a bad wash and bad customer service then go see Samira so she could treat you like you don't matter. I'll be getting gas and wash at another station from now on."
"I like this place. The car wash does not scratch up my car. I get the one with wax,not the cheapest wash. The staff is friendly. I can go here, get my gas with no drama. At other nearby stations, and in San Pedro,I get harrased by aggressive homeless people, and also had fraud/ charges from others on my atm card. I have had none of those issues at this gas station. I feel safe, coming here alone."
"It was OK. Card didnt go through in the machine, and inside I got the attitude. They do offer good prices (As much as gas prices can be good our days with crazy economy)."
"This review is for the "no touch" car wash only. I like to head out into the desert on the weekend and get my truck a bit dusty. When I come back to civilization I like to make myself look civilized again (it's a good disguise). To that end I have tried the three cheapest car wash options. The four dollar option certainly sprayed water on my truck. This did a great job of removing the loose dust. Fortunately it also left my bug collection, the one I keep on the front grill, untouched. I feel that the carcasses of bugs I've killed gives my truck that "tough truck" look one always hears about. To that end I'm happy to report that this level of wash also left a thick layer of mud on my rear step. This level of wash does not include an under carriage rinse. Next week I tried the eight dollar wash. This included shampoo even though my truck has no hair. This level of wash seems to include more rinsing. It knocked the wings right off my bug collection leaving nothing but bodies and smears. It also left a much thinner layer of soil on my rear step. That might be because, somehow, it left more streaking down the back. This level of wash included an undercariage wash that turned the boring even layer of dust under there into somewhat artistic splatters. The next week I decided to be done with my bug collection once and for all so I used the window washer thing at the gas station on my front grill. Yes, I was that guy. I decided to try the six dollar car wash with (under carriage). This was a huge mistake. The six dollar wash includes "sealer" which apparently it's designed to leave speckles of dirt all over your car. If I had known that I would never have bought it. I would recommend avoiding this level of wash. I had to re-wash by hand that day. The driers are not sufficient to dry a mid- sized truck, even here in the desert. Each week I left with spots of water all over. I used all of the allotted drier time and my truck was waxed last month. Still for eighteen dollars I've had two near-washes and a pre-wash. That is not too bad. I would recommend cleaning off the bugs by scrubby thing before hand. If your just looking for a lazy persons car dusting this will work for you."
