45th St Parking (El Porto)

"I’ve been parking here for months as I’ve just moved to manhattan beach. Well I have had so much nice security people and today one of them had a power trip talking about how I was being disrespectful when parking on the side waiting for the lot to open Every other security has allowed that since it’s not in the way. Then he lets in other cars He’s dealing with a parking lot not anything high security. Serious issues from the old man. I found him so disrespectful compared to other security there that’s super chill He also took pictures of my license plate and called parking enforcement. Life’s not that serious I just wanted to enjoy a beach day not the vibes at all. I find it dumb they even pay for security to do that in public parking just let people figure out the lot is full without dealing with their power trips. I’d give negative stats if I could not even one star for his handling of a situation. The city lost money from me paying for a parking spot and from now on I won’t be coming back after being disrespected and will let others know to not park in this lot and choose others all because one security guards attitude. Edit:since I live in manhattan beach I walked down to the beach today passed the parking lot. Saw at least 3 space open just walking past the entrance and what do you know the same security guard is not letting cars in and has the barricades up. I wonder if the city knows that he’s costing them money? Especially on a holiday weekend after 4th of July…."

"Touchless, metered parking right on the beach. Steps away from the strand. Get there early on the weekends as there aren't a lot of spots but I can usually get one in the off season. Great location in Manhattan Beach with plenty of shopping and dining nearby."
