Whispering Pines Pet Cemetery

"This place may be less expensive but you’re not sure you get your beloved pet back. My mom brought her cat here and she always puts a quarter in with them so she knows she got them back. It doesn’t burn. First time she went to Whispering Pines always went to animal shelter but they no longer do it. The quarter was not with him. My mom is very upset not knowing for sure. Won’t be going there again. Think twice before you go to this place."

"They were awesome. I can’t thank them enough. I called a few days in advance because it was timed situation. Told me to come right in. No problem. My Ida was back in my arms 20 hours later and that meant the world to me. I will be back. Hopefully not too soon"

"They were very nice and sympathetic, and able to take my poor old boy right away. I dropped off his body on Thursday afternoon, and was able to pick up his remains on Monday. They had him in a plastic bag inside a very nice thick, black, plastic box. Very reasonably priced, and extremely quick turn around (especially compared to the humane society on both). I would 100% recommend them if you're looking to have a pet cremated."

"I brought my dog here and specifically asked and paid for it to be cremated by itself (often they do a bunch of animals at once to cut down on costs), but when they gave me his ashes they gave me more ash then when my grandpa was cremated and he was close to 10x in size compared to my 20lbs dog. They were friendly and seemed sincere about my loss. Unfortunately I do not believe that they cremated my dog alone like they said they did and most likely misjudged the amount of ash they returned not thinking that it would be a noticeable difference to someone who's never seen the ash of a person. Unfortunately what's done is done now and there's no going back but I honestly believe others deserve to know that when one brings a pet to a crematory they take the risk of getting other animals ashes in return."

"We had a sudden pet passing. We called and needed immediate cremation services. We came down from north Mendocino Co. and Whispering Pines accommodated us the day-of. They accept cash. They greeted us in the onsite office and were very respectful and concise. In 2 days they called us back and we picked up a beautiful sleek urn. Excellent and respectful service. Good people and good experience. Would highly recommend if need a pet cremation service. I hope to not be back soon, but I will use them the next time I need to do this. Thank you."
