"Non Tesla owner here. I charged yesterday at a magic dock. Make sure you follow the instructions carefully on the Tesla app (2 seconds press). If you only get the NACS out of the port your are doing it wrong. Charging is not cheap for sure but when compared to exorbitant PG&E elect pricing it’s not bad plus you have to consider speed, like wiring a 1 Mega Watt copper wire is what a factory might typically use/pay for."
"It’s near a bunch of businesses and restaurants, lots of open spots. Grocery shopping at the nearby Nob Hill Foods is great."
"Very good supercharger and doesn’t seem to get very crowded."
"I know it's better for the environment, but the prices of Tesla are so cost prohibitive, only the wealthy, successful ,entitled people are able to save the environment with superchargers. You need a converter to use the chargers on other brands of electric cars, with the price of the vehicles they could have thrown the Leaf owners a bone and made a universal charger (?) Just my honest opinion."
"Not too far off hwy 17. Would've expected more people using but it was empty in the middle of the day. There was 12 or so spaces and only 1 space was in use! Plugged in and wowza, charged at 500 miles per hour. Went to grab some food, came back in 20 minutes and my battery was charged with 100+ miles! Finished my food and I was fully charged. Pleasantly surprised. One downfall, not much variety for restaurants unless you're willing to walk far across the street. The supermarket, Nob Hill, came in handy."
