Reviews
"Not a parking lot per se but an area along the road above the cove where people seem to randomly park for their visit. Going down to the cove is slippery with loose rocks and dirt but a bit easier to climb back up (although a little steep). If you have mobility issues, skip it. Graffiti and trash are unfortunate. Not a beach I'd swim at but still lovely for a 30 min visit."
"Beautiful spot on the California coast. Tricky hike down to the beach but well worth it"
"good place, descent and ascent are exclusively for the most courageous :) good photos can be taken without descending into the lagoon :)"
"The view is breathtaking! The beach area is quite difficult to get to, the path down is very steep with only a rope to pull yourself up and lower yourself down. If the hike down is doable, it is definitely worth it!"
"This was a very cool stop on Hwy 1. The overlook is gorgeous. It was raining when I went and was still breathtaking. There were snails crawling all over the place too so watch your step."
