Five Brooks Trailhead

"Ample parking space and restrooms at the beginning of the hiking trails to Wildcat Campground. The hiking path is well maintained, but there are a lot of horse droppings, as one might imagine due to the closeness to Five Brooks stables. Access to Alamere Falls is possible through a 6 hour out-and-back hike."

"The trails are great. The greenery is amazing and the ocean breeze keeps everything cool, so even when the south bay is heating up to 100F you can escape the heat by hiking out here."

"Large parking lot, horse trailer accessible. Beautiful trail, drains well (not muddy after a recent heavy rain). Trails are not well marked, so bring/download a map. Breathtaking views of the ocean once you get over the ridge! We walked just under 17 miles from Five Brooks trailhead to the ocean beach (Wildcat campground) and back. I think there is a slightly shorter way to do it."

"Easy to access trailhead with a lot of parking. Most trailheads in Pt. Reyes have small lots but this one is quite large. This would be a good place to start a hike to wildcat camp. We were staying in Glen and the hike was about 5.5 miles."
