"COAST GUARD !!! They save our buttocks every day. They brave the surf and conditions that just SANK YOU .. to go out and rescue you .. their slogan? "YOU HAVE TO GO OUT - YOU DON'T HAVE TO COME BACK!" If you can review the Coast Guard - how can it be less than 5 stars? 33,000 men and women - taking care of the entire coastal and inner waterways (like the Mississippi River or Lake Tahoe) and the entire worlds population without politics - then - providing law enforcement on the open seas - stopping hundred and thousands of kilo's of drugs and immigrants from entering our country illegally while protecting EVERYONE's lives without borders since 1790. Oldest of the 5 services and the smallest with the biggest job. Wars - The Coast Guard has been in all of 'em .. and many have gotten the Nations highest awards, though, not all of them have been around to enjoy it. You have to go out .. you don't have to come back. Semper Paratus !"

"Was stationed here in 74~76, Bodega Bay (the civilian side) has all the amenities. The Coast Guard station has friendly staff, when they are able, you can get a tour. Giving explanation of the boats and crews duty."
