"SO GOOD! I loved this little spot. The food was great. We had the gyozas, fatty tuna, crispy rice spicy tuna, Dragon roll, and Crunch Spicy Tuna Roll. The fatty tuna just melts in your mouth, gyozas were fresh and good, crispy rice spicy tuna was bomb. All amazing. The Crunch Spicy Tuna Roll was so good as well. Loved the texture of the crunchy little potato on the top and the sauces. The Dragon roll was good but nothing amazing, simply a California roll with eel on top. Ambiance is great as well. Sitting at the bar looks like a great experience and the chefs seem like fun too. Overall had a great time. Wish I lived local!!"

"Came to this little sushi restaurant because I saw good reviews. The food exceeded expectations. Everything came out fresh and had a lot of flavor. The owner has 40 years of experience and he displays his creativity on items. Carolina took great care of us. Would recommend to any local or anyone traveling in area."

"I have mixed feelings about this place, our service was not so good, maybe because they were busy and we had a table in the back where they kind of forgot about us. The parking was poor, I had to drive up and down the block for 15 mins in areas that didn't feel so safe with all homeless, then I got a scolding from a guy who said I walked in the wrong door in back, come on, dont you walk that way when you go to the jon anyway? I just wanted to put this all behind me and eat. We ordered the bulgogi, chicken katsu, salmon teriyaki , the Kimu roll, the stinky roll, some blue fin tuna, some broiled eel, the spicy sashimi salad, and cucumber salad and the fish was ok, the other stuff was aceptable as long as my little 5 year eats it. Maybe I'm just picky, having spent time in Japan. There were 4 adults, 1 child, but they still charged us a gratuity, which I missed on the check, so I double paid the tip for less than average service. My total bill was $195. With so many good places to eat in Southern Cal, and I hate to overpay, not sure if I will be back. Maybe better for locals."

"Just checked out this new place with friends and family and the food was amazing! We tried Dinner sushi& sashimi combo, Titanic roll, Tnt roll, Long Beach roll and yellowtail collar and everything was so fresh and tasty. I also highly recommend the deep fried matcha cake it was crispy outside but it the inside melts in your mouth. Will definitely come back soon!"

"First off this place is 10 times better then what was there before. The inside is beautiful, staff is great and food is superb. I had the Rainbow Carpaccio (highly recommend), crispy rice with spicy tuna, and the stinky roll (crazy name but amazing). Everything was so fresh and flavorful. Definitely recommend this place for my fellow sushi lovers. Also, if you check-in on yelp you get a free small hot sake."
