"Had a terrible experience on Sunday August 9th. Went to have a drink after visiting the Long Beach Flea Market. Arrived at 4:15 since the web-sight states they open at 4:00 on Sunday. The bar is downstairs which was difficult for my sister in law who has a knee issues. When we got downstairs the door to the bar was locked. A young lady came down in a huff asking why we were down there since they were not yet open? We said we didn’t know since the web-sight said they opened at 4:00. She said maybe that’s their bad we needed to leave since they actually opened at 4:30. We said ok but do you have an elevator we can use since my sister in law was handicapped? She rudely said the elevator was not working but she would check. We stayed downstairs waiting for her. She came back and yelled from the top of the stairs the elevator was not working but we needed to come up because we should not have even gone down there (the web sight said they were opened) Then another young lady came and said the same thing. Rudely telling us we should not go through a door that was closed. The gate height comes to the waist and looks like it is there to keep kids from falling down. They did not have a closed sign or anything indicating it was closed. We have never been treated so poorly, elevator access refused to a elderly handicapped patron by two rude bar tenders when the error was not our fault."
"So I'm going to be a little critical. Great entrance! Service was friendly and attentive. Decor and atmosphere nicely tiki with some fun effects. But I think the drink recipes need an expert to update as they are a bit too juicy. Too much acid kind of ruined the intended flavor."
"I was a little unsure about going to this tiki bar during karaoke night. We were pleasantly surprised. The Entertainment was fun, the bartenders friendly and the atmosphere had enough “Tikishness” to keep me happy. We didn’t have any food, so we can’t tell you about that. The drinks were skillfully made and tasted great. Can’t wait to go again."
"Went to this spot on a busy Saturday night, unfortunately the service wasn't great. Me and my date waited ( 25min) at our table no one checked on us, he instead went to bar to order our drinks and some fries. The decor is really cool along with the lighting effects. It's best to get there early, the place isn't that big get there at 6pm or 7pm is a good time. Food was good but we did wait another while for condiments. After waiting 15 min the waitress came back and said the " ranch dressing" was being made . Which I've never heard before but ok. Drinks were nice, not great. Nice to go visit atleast for the entertainment, it was worth watching!. Some Rockabilly band it was fun for the night. Probably would try again during the week less busy."
