Marianne’s Ice Cream

"Marianne's serves up some good ice cream with many flavor options. I'm guessing the ice cream is a premium 14% butterfat - so fairly creamy. Where it excels for me is in the mix-ins - my two flavors had lots of good mix-ins that were very satisfying. The flavors I tried had good flavor and the portion was decent. The building is quite old and the color changing lights above our table were annoying, but the old building also adds to a classic parlor feel. I intend to go again next time I visit my brother in town."

"Great ice cream, they let you try whichever flavors you want, and they have a TON to choose from. I got the Root Beer Swirl, and it tasted like a root beer float in solid ice cream form. They have a "Take a Number" system that you grab and they call your number to order. Makes the large line that was there go pretty smooth."

"First time at this Marianne's location in Aptos! Since I'm lactose intolerant, I absolutely love their strawberry sorbet. The two of us shared a 3 scoop. It didn't really fit the cup, so might make more sense to get a 2 scoop. It was just as good as I remembered. Fresh strawberry flavor and a creamy finish. Not overly sweet. Ticket system. Pull a number and they will call you out. Staff is friendly, and will let you try flavors. Seating inside and outside. Street parking only."
