"Excellent food, and the staff was great! Attention to detail on everything. Peaceful view of the bay and watched a seal on the wharf. Rocker Oysterfeller's at Lucas wharf rocks! We'll be back."
"New restaurant. Only open a week. Really great drink menu, one of the only places with a respectable cider on draft, and really good food. True homemade clam chowder, grits to rival anywhere in the South and a fantastic bread pudding dessert. We ate at the Tides two nights ago and this place blows it out of the water. Skip the Tides restaurant and come here instead."
"Came by the new location during their opening weekend out in Bodega Bay and really enjoyed the location and food. The captains platter was huge and great for sharing. Also a great Manhattan! I think my coleslaw came undressed though but it's understandable for a new staff."
"Service is very casual and friendly which made me feel welcome. I had the fish of the day which was petrale sole and it was super fresh, cooked to perfection and tasted superb. Definitely not Sysco fish. Nobody has ever said “this zucchini is amazing” before but I did today. The zucchini served with the fish was cooked by someone who knows that they are doing. Dessert was a pecan bread pudding which was another level of decadence and very well executed. Prices were very reasonable as well when you consider the location. Well done guys."
"Worth the wait for this location to open. Service at the door, the wait staff, and table clean up was not only on spot but every one was so helpful and friendly. They made us feel at home here like old friends. The mezcal grapefruit cocktail ‘The Hitchcock’, had just the right amount of smokiness. Pairing the arugula and capers with the crab and artichoke cakes was genius. If the cakes had been a bit bigger, I could have made a meal of that. The tender filet mignon was cooked perfectly and should always be served with those intensely flavored bourbon mushrooms. Oh those mushrooms. The local fish tonight was ling cod, which was also grilled just right. It was served on a pile of tasty combination of rice , corn, squash, and black eyed peas. Ordering that rich dark chocolate pecan tart (a candy bar in disguised as a dessert) almost did us in, but luckily we had the good sense to share and save some to take home. Thank you Rocker Oysterfellas for a very pleasant dining experience. Next time we will try the clam chowder and fish and chips. Both looked very good and we heard tables nearby raving about them."
