"For what this place strives to be, it does it really well. It's a pretty spare brauhaus, a few tables surrounded by almost naked walls. The menu is limited but quite good, a selection of a few delicious sausages, salads, and cheeses. We had the house salad, the kielbasa and bockwurst sausages with stone mustard and pickled vegetables, and the cheese platter. Everything was very good, if not exceptional. It doesn't have the richness of a SF gastropub but it's just solid and unpretentious. If you're in the area and want to grab a beer and a bit, it's a good place to pop into. Mar 14, 2014"
"Dining in at Paprika was one of my first experiences trying German food, and I liked the simplicity of the menu. The drinks and food are tasty and reasonably priced. I came here for a Stammtisch meet-up, and it is likely I will become a regular here."
"The menu is limited, but what they do, they do well, and at reasonable (for SF) prices. The szeged goulash was especially good. It’s Hungarian / Czech hybrid cuisine, so don’t expect the goulash to be a soup, but the flavors are authentic."
"Was down in the Bayview helping out my old pals Don Jawon'tago and Yugo Dattaway put a new Jane Hathaway Whirligig on top of their single occupancy hotel down there in no man's land, just so old Tapdancer Jobe can know where the wind is coming from. He says he can smell the food cooking from each restaurant in the area depending on the wind, and today he can smell the food from the Paprika Restaurant! We should go there he says, it's the best! So we did, and he was right...the food was Spectacular. 5 stars ☆☆☆☆☆"
"Unique place that is easy to miss! Good: - Really yummy food - I had the chicken dish and I loved how it came with a delicious mashed potatoes and also had a ton of chicken - We got a sausage appetizer as well and the bread it came with was great - we even got refills! - Unique aesthetic - wooden tables and chairs so it was good for a date night Bad: - Simple service, nothing too special about the experience and felt a little bit slower on the service side since it took a while to flag people down even though we were one of two parties inside Overall was a unique experience, unique food and a cool change of pace for my own tastes"
