"I give them Two stars for showing up. And then it was downhill from there and ended badly. I really hate to give bad reviews, but the way the owner treated us was shocking. This is a long story, but if you are truly interested in their performance, you might want to read it all. It begins with our purchase of an existing home, not new construction. We were given the name of Current Electrical Technologies because we were told they had taken care of the house for the previous owner, and we thought it was best to have someone who knew about the house and the lighting because the house had very unique electrical elements. The technician arrived on time every day needed. We paid this company over $6000 to work on our house and the lighting system. Here is where it went downhill. First the technician replaced several outdoor lights, and later in the evening when it got dark, they never went off. The flood lights were pouring light into our bedroom at night, and we had to sleep with masks on, and our neighbor called and asked us to shut down our lights, but we could not, they stayed constantly on. We called the technician back to fix the situation which he partially did, and we paid. He also proceeded to change out other outdoor lights that were not operating. The technician purchased the lights for us through his company and proceeded to install. We paid for this. Days later, the lights stopped functioning, and we called Current Electrical Technologies back to come and see what was the issue. The technician (the one who had worked on the lights and had ordered the lights) proceeded to tell us that those lights were not meant to operate with a dimmer. DUH...... that technician was the one who ordered the lights...... and that technician knew there was a dimmer switch. He is the expert, not us. So, my husband wrote the owner an email making a complaint and wishing an explanation. This was the response from the owner in an email: .... "You are saying they were installed improperly? Your system was dimming the flood lights and that fried them. Nobody dims flood lights. I do not appreciate you blaming that on us. If anything I should have charged you for that labor since your system was set to dim your exterior flood lights." Needless to say, We were shocked at the owners response. He got all of his money.......... and we are still experiencing issues."
