"First of let me say the administration team in admissions is wonderful. They truly care . But then comes the Detox building. Which is pure filth. It is horrible . Boogers on the walls and mold and dirt everywhere. I literally watched them strip sheets off of a bed , not clean it and put a new person on a mattress. The filth was insane . While I was there. They let two ladies in with drugs. One with an IV needle . And the second with Heroine. The way the staff talks to patients when they are at there lowest is horrific . The Friday night nurse 7/26/24. Should be fired . She is horrible . “She’s a nurse” so she knows everything . They literally tried to give me medicine that would cause my Serontonin Syndrome to get worse . The food is not food. I’m not sure what it is. People had dairy restrictions. They didn’t care. The staff will not allow you to use the phone . Mind you I had children. I gave it my best effort . But after 10 days I had an emergency and had to leave . They talked to me like pure trash and kicked me out on the street with my bags . Wouldn’t let me make a phone call. It was horrible. Mr. Willy was the only person who cared . The night staff were on there phones and computers. There were no detox classes at all. I call this the place of horrors . I will forever have PTSD from this place . I had a family member refer me here . She owns a facility. But after I explained the horrors . She let me know she would not be referring anyone else. Please go to Ridgeview Monroe or Highland Rivers. If anything. Go into the emergency room and let them find you a detox center . Do not under any circumstances go here. Unless you want to be talked to or treated like pure Garbage . I am reporting this place and the nurse who treated me so ugly. All of the detox staff needs help . Desperately. You should not leave new people alone or rude nurses when people are at there lowest . The admission staff is amazing . The Detox is horrible . Please avoid at all cost . Take it from someone who got worse over 10 days and not better . Now that I am home. I am so much better already. My dad was sick and in the hospital and they treated me like trash . Wouldn’t allow me to call him . It was terrible . I hope the Thursday , Friday , Sunday night nurse gets a good dose of reality . You need it. Detox should be ashamed of themselves."

"I was unsure if my family member was a qualified rehabilitation facility ,I had read some bad reviews.It took effort to get her in.It was worth every bit of effort! She went through the detoxing,I couldn't have contact with her.When we talked for the first time I realized my prayers had been answered.She was on the road to recovery.She was so grateful she got in and was feeling better and thinking clearly. My sister's counselor Mr Dre personally called and invited and encouraged me to attend the monthly Family Day and I did. I was blown away by the professional,compassionate care the patients receive.As a family member I received counseling and tools and the information on how to take this journey of recovery with my loved one.Ascensa reassured my loved one and myself there are professional people that really care about you living a life in recovery, redemption for ever! You are not a number on a pay check, but a living soul! Thank you Ascensa!"

"Very professional place! Learned so much from here. I graduated with honors and did many different programs that were very educational and helped a person in every way possible! They had counseling and psychologist to help cope with your problems!!! This was one of the best rehabs in Atlanta that really cares about you and wanted to help you so much! I loved the ladies there and respect them all,!!! It changed my life!!!"

"Worst program that’s out in Atlanta a program that’s design to fail people in recovery I can understand why the state is investigating the program and the graduation rate is so low People in employment need to be investigated & terminated such as Tanisha, Tracy, Tomorrow, Bria, Jason, Jeremiah, Raegan, & Lakiesha hopefully the city of Atlanta will look at this review make a difference and remove these people from places like this"
