"I don’t usually leave reviews… but my experience yesterday at this office needs to be called out. To the woman behind the desk that was incredibly condescending, argumentative, and miserable - you really need to self reflect and consider therapy. How you treated this new mother who waited 2 hours with an infant on her lap was disgusting and unnecessary. You should be ashamed of yourself. You spoke to me like I was a child that needed reprimanding- all because you made a vague announcement on the loud speaker that shouldn’t have (and didn’t) apply to my situation. I don’t give a damn what announcement you made- your tone and attitude was uncalled for, unprofessional, and shocking to say the least. Also- To the two security guards( aka wanna-be cops) who came over to attempt to intimidated me because I was standing up for myself… laughable. Ya’ll are horrible at your job. Do better."

"Arrived at 8:30 before doors opened, waited outside and did not get called back until 12:15. Not all windows are open, and only one Spanish speaking administrator, which we weren’t informed about so they delayed our time due to me filling out my application in Spanish."

"This location is great, ignore all the poor reviews. Just make an appointment and you won’t have to wait long. I made an appointment a couple days in advance for my name change and I was in and out within 20 minutes. It only takes forever if you just walk in. Great people in this location!!"

"If you've not been there here is the lowdown on the current social security office by Hodges. There is a kiosk that you sign in with as soon as you enter the door. The kiosk prints out a ticket with your number on it For example w118, just like the driver's license bureau. They announce tickets until they get to your number. I did not have an appointment when I went and I feel like the line moved pretty fast. I was in and out in an hour I went on a Thursday morning at about 20 to 9:00. The guard is friendly and helpful. The clerk who took my information was a grumplestiltskin. It's the tone not what they say. I had to file for Medicare because of an organ transplant. I've never had to deal with the social security office before so the The tone they use asking for basic information is unnecessary. It was my first time there with no guidance on what I was supposed to bring and if I didn't answer fast enough I got snapped at. It's the actual nature of that office! Again, all unnecessary to be unnecessarily harsh. We are all still people going through something, looking for help. It's literally the nature of that office. I'm fairly young and with it so I don't know what it's like for somebody that may be struggling with memory or health or other challenges."

"My visit was absolutely great and I was prepared for the worst….. I came 30 mins before they were supposed to close on Friday. I had about 30 people ahead of me. I was leaving at 4:10 and the office was still helping out the few remaining clients despite of the time. Great job, they worked like crazy and helped out everyone. My matter was resolved within a couple of mins professionally and kindly."
