Reviews
"Amazing place with Coast to the mexican gulf. Nice and warm water. Nice water buttom. Nice sand without to much stones. Cool with the trees on the beach too. Could have better parking facilities though."
"This place was amazing. I see they’re still trying to rebuild for the last hurricane, but overall, it was nice and clean. Definitely will come back."
"Really mid - there is no longer any good beach access because of the hurricane, and we couldn't get very close"
"Awesome place to fish and get a tan!! Definitely a locals spot…great place to pick up shells & see wildlife."
"The South end of FMB is the quiet end of the island.. this old pier always has plenty of pelicans and cormorants that sit on the pilings. It is around the start of the CWA (critical wildlife area) where you can see hundreds of shorebirds (royal terns, least terns, sanderlings, black skimmers). Further down there are two lagoons, where you can see American White Pelicans (Oct-Mar) and Roseate Spoonbills, plus plenty more wading bird species. Enjoy!"
