"Tolls have been restored for crossing the Cape Coral bridge going westbound, though eastbound remains free. It is $2 for cars these days. The toll booth is completely cashless. SUNPass transponders work as do several other systems. I have a North Carolina QUICKpass and they bill me the transponder rate. If you don't have a transponder, they will bill you by mail. It's not cheap."
"I am giving it 1 star because i can't give it half star. Terible toll, there is $2 toll, but there is $25 penalty, and there is only 1 way of paying it (suny pass). It may be good for the locals, but it is not good for the tourists, I will never go back."
"It is almost extortion charging people double what the toll is to go to Cape Coral to support your city's functions/events. I go to Cape Coral, once maybe twice a year. There is no need for me to purchase a Sunpass. It was TWO dollars to go over the bridge pre-covid and now it's FIVE. Shame on your greed."
"I followed Google map directions to Cape Coral because I thought it might be a nice place to visit but I won't go back. There were no toll booths for this bridge and no signs directing me to a tool booth. Then I received a letter in the mail that they were charging me $2.00 and a $3.00 extra fee. Sounds like a scam. I won't return to Cape Coral."
