Our Emergency Operations Center is at the forefront of planning, mitigation, response, and recovery for large-scale emergencies and disasters, ensuring that our community is prepared and resilient. Lee County Emergency Medical Services (LCEMS) delivers advanced life support and pre-hospital emergency healthcare, utilizing both ground and air ambulance services to provide swift and efficient care across the region.
Lee Control operates a county-wide radio network and dispatch center, expertly managing 911 and emergency requests for fire, medical, and emergency management services. Our E911 Program is dedicated to enhancing the technology, service, and training of Lee County's 911 networks, supporting local police and sheriff dispatchers, and maintaining the 911 database for the Enhanced 9-1-1 Emergency Telephone System.
The Government Communications Network (GCN) administers an 800 MHz communications system, vital for countywide emergency response, government operations, and local municipalities. Additionally, we provide contracted fire protection services to dependent fire districts and manage the distribution of fire and EMS impact fee and all hazard funds to independent fire districts and EMS agencies.

I know that I pass by Briarcliff and Michael g Rippe everyday and those signs have both been out since the hurricane. I'm also curious as to why there are not more pot hole patrols? Because the pot holes on the local roads in Fort Myers are insanely deep."
