"On the evening of the 25th I got pulled on 57th at the post office. I did have ice blue headlight I didn't realize they were illegal. The officer gave me a ticket 116.00. He must have neglected to tell me that when I corrected the issue that the ticket would drop to 25.00. I paid the 116.00 . I am a 27year vet with nothing on my record and I get a ticket for headlights instead of a warning. I found this info from another officer that it's called a fix it ticket. Who ever the officer was who stop me thank you very much for taking my 120.00I was in the Coast Guard I was on that side of stopping people but common sense of who got citations come into play I drove right by this cop knowing I could get pulled over yeah ok."

"Too bad we can't give them less than 1 star. In my opinion they should be rebranded Manatee county keystone cops. These are people to lazy to interview suspects that are already in jail or 8 miles from their department."

"Called Manatee Sherriff for vandalism to vehicle by neighbor. 2.75 hours amd two phone calls later, still waiting. Tax dollars (not) at work. Worthless agency. Not the first time we’ve had to call them, and they consistently no show or take their sweet time. One time a young man was getting beat up in the street … yup, you guessed it – sheriff’s office couldn’t care less."
