White Sands Cleaner Longboat

"STAY AWAY! GO ELSEWHERE if you want the service you pay for and to be treated with respect. For convenience, I gave this cleaners a try, I wish I had read the reviews first. Not only did they burn a hole in my slacks, they proceed to clean them and then charge me for cleaning something "they" ruined. When I brought it to their attention, the man working there was rude, dismissive, and insisted I brought it in like that - I did not. This was an expensive lesson in Read the Reviews first. I hope I can save someone the displeasure of dealing with this establishment and especially the man that works there/ owns this place."

"Please please please keep your distance and stay very far away from this TERRIBLE dry cleaners. I wish I had read the Yelp reviews before I brought my Derek Lam pants there to remove a simple coffee stain. I got them back with what looks like BURNS all over the pants. When I say all over I mean in 8 different places. They offered to reclean them but I got them back in even worse condition. The owner, Denny was rude and down right nasty to me telling me that he cleans pants he doesn’t ruin them. I said this clearly isn’t how I brought them in and he started screaming at me that I was a LIER. He threw $14 at me as a refund for my cleaning. If what they destroyed were a pair of $300 Derek Lam pants. He needs psychiatric help or at the very least anger management classes because this is no way to treat a customer. Run, RUN, R.U.N away from this place. It’s the worst dry cleaner I’ve ever been to. Read the Yelp reviews before going. They have one star out of 8 reviews. Warranted"

"I used this place when visiting my family on Long Boat Key. The dry cleaning itself was fine. The owner was rude and unhinged. If you can go anywhere else, do it. It’s not worth the convenience. He told a family member that he didn’t “want our kind around here.” I don’t know if he meant Jew or what, but suffice it to say we aren’t going back."

"My clothes were cleaned promptly and well. Service was okay. I found one review of this establishment quite concerning and almost as if it were written by the business itself. Who would ever say something like this about people whom review on google? “ I think people just try to leave a bad review to wield power over someone because they are literally miserable & have no control over their own lives.” If you take time to read reviews and make one yourself why would you attack the people that write them? Does anyone believe all reviews should be 5 stars reviews for every business? Clearly the woman that wrote this review is either ignorant or is involved with the establishment. Strangely this same woman posted 2 other reviews absolutely bashing the businesses and giving each a 1 star review. Bipolar?"

"DO NOT USE THIS ESTABLISHMENT ! I am a full time resident on Longboat Key. Went to this dry cleaners as I needed a few items for a trip in 2 days time. They assured me my clothes would be ready. On stopping by at 2:00 to pick them up on my way to the airport, there was a sign on the door that they would be gone until 3:00. I could not wait as I would miss my flight. Upon return from my trip, I explained this situation to the man behind the counter, I received no apology, and no compensation for my troubles. He was rude, inconsiderate and belligerent."
