Our dedicated customer service team is ready to collaborate with managed care customers, ensuring services are tailored to meet each company’s specific needs. We offer convenient specimen pick-up options, including daily pick-ups in outlying areas and twice daily in Gainesville. Additionally, we provide all necessary supplies for specimen collection and offer flexible reporting options to facilitate effective record-keeping.

Comprehensive Testing and Expertise

Our main outpatient lab, located at Northeast Georgia Medical Center, specializes in routine collections, lab work, pre-surgical testing, and more. For after-hours and weekend services, patients can check in through the emergency department, where they will be directed to the appropriate testing location.

Our team of expert pathologists, medical laboratory technicians (MLTs), medical laboratory scientists (MLSs), histotechnologists, and cytotechnologists work collaboratively to ensure accurate and timely results. Our professionals are certified by the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) and American Medical Technologists (AMT), and are dedicated to delivering high-quality laboratory services.

Patient-Centric Approach

Our phlebotomy department is the welcoming face of our labs, expertly trained in collecting blood, urine, and other body fluids. They ensure specimens are properly labeled and routed for processing, facilitating quick turnaround times for results.

Preparation and Collection Guidelines

For accurate test results, it is important to follow pre-collection guidelines. Avoid consuming food, soft drinks, juice, milk, or alcohol 8-12 hours prior to a blood draw. Water consumption is encouraged to aid in sample collection, and black coffee or tea is allowed without cream or sugar.

For urine samples, follow instructions carefully to ensure a clean-catch sample and bring it to the lab promptly. Some tests may require a first morning sample or a 24-hour collection.
