North Shore Medical Center Emergency Room

"Refused to help after I left hospital to understand the test results. Didn't really explain much of anything. Didn't care about how because of what happened to me, I went into a panic attack and PTSD reared it's ugly head. Didn't give a damn about me as a patient. They asked me for a review, I was going to leave it alone, but here's my review take it or leave"

"The nurse that was in charge of me and my husband was very rude. I was translating for a man that didn’t speak English and wanted to ask her a question because they have said they were going to put an gauze on his foot and she told me no to tell her what to do. And like 30 minutes before that she was being rude to another patient. I have worked in the medical field and never in my life. Have I seen this kind of behavior towards patients. The patients come when they are most vulnerable and to have somebody treat you rudely is unacceptable. I thought that since the hospital was under new management things had changed, but I see that they still have a couple of bad weeds They need to pull out."

"The bathroom was very stink. The staff very nice but the place is very dirty Especially the grass on the outside horrible for a second I thought that the hospital was closed. We need the hospital in the neighborhood but my gosh we have to do better. Eighteen years ago I give birth to my beautiful daughter in this hospital and I just cannot believe what I'm seeing, let's try to get this hospital cleaned up Thanks again"

"I recently visited North shore medical Center ER due to a sudden health concern. The check-in process was quick and efficient, with minimal wait time despite a busy evening. The staff were incredibly professional and attentive, addressing my symptoms promptly and with compassion. The facility was clean and organized, contributing to a calming environment during a stressful time. The medical team clearly explained my diagnosis and treatment plan, ensuring I understood every step. Overall, my experience was positive, and I left feeling well-cared-for."

"Probably the WORST hospital I’ve ever been to. After I got in a car crash that I have pics of below and waited 3 hours in the waiting room, The doctor said their concussion protocol was to take ibuprofen and go to sleep. He didn’t even check for a MRI or Catscan. Didn’t even let me explain myself what happened , was rushing me , and did not care at all. The waiting room staff did not give us an ice pack when we asked nicely for my hands that were in EXTREME pain from the accident. I will sue the doctor and hospital if I find out I have a concussion . I do not recommend for anyone to go there. There were so many rooms open when I finally got a room. There was no reason why I should’ve waited 3 hours after my accident to be seen ."
