"My pcp tried to get me appt with this dr and just found out today this dr lied about me. He said that I missed 2 appointments. I went to him for 1 appt and that was for an emg test that I didn't want those needles in my muscles cause of my muscle condition that I have!! I knew nothing about that test and asked him to explain it and he got an attitude and I walked out!! That was in 2020. So you dr need to get your facts straight!! Stop posting things that are not correct."

"As a nurse, I have knowledge of many Neurologists in the Daytona Beach area. When I met Dr. Garewal I knew he was a God send for my mother. He is our doctor of 3 generations and is remarkable in his field. I would give him 10 stars if I could. If you want an accurate diagnosis and correct treatment from a caring kind Neurologist you dont have to look farther than Dr. Garewal."

"If you only have time to read one sentence of this review, here it is...my mom has her life back thanks to Dr. Garewal (and Dr. Yahya which I wrote a separate review for). My mom started having multiple symptoms that increasingly got worse over time. We went from ER visits to specialists trying to determine the root of the issue. Each specialist would recommend a different specialist. It got to the point where my mom started having panic attacks due to not knowing what was going on. We had even seen a neurologist in a different city that told us that there was nothing neurologically wrong. We ended up getting referred to Dr. Yahya to help with my mom's anxiety. Dr. Yahya is an amazing Psychiatrist that work's closely with Dr. Garewal (they are married). While she was listening to my mom talk about her symptoms, she mentioned that her husband was a neurologist and that, if we gave her permission, she would talk to him and get his thoughts on my mom's symptoms. In the meantime, my mom was meeting with a neurosurgeon to discuss possible stenosis in her neck (because by this point we were seeing all kinds of specialists just trying to find the root cause of her symptoms). The neurosurgeon told her that the stenosis was a possible cause but that he wanted her to see a great neurologist that he knew of just to get a second opinion. This happened to be Dr. Garewal. It was like the universe was telling us we should have been seeing him the whole time. Once we started seeing Dr. Garewal, everything changed for my mom. Within a couple of weeks of his diagnosis and treatment, she started noticing slight improvements in her symptoms. It has been over a year now and she is so much better than she was. She of course has some better days than others as that is just part of the disease but her overall quality of life is just completely turned around from where it was a year ago. I try not to look in the past too much but I cant help imagine sometimes how much suffering my mom could have avoided if we had found Dr. Garewal when her symptoms first started. If you need a neurologist for yourself or a loved one, even if you just think that there might be something neurologically wrong but don't know for sure, I cant recommend enough that you talk to Dr. Garewal. He is caring and knowledgeable and is the reason my mother is active and enjoys life again. I can't thank both Dr. Garewal and Dr. Yahya enough."

"I went to the office my appointment was for 8 o’clock I hit some traffic got there at 8:16 in emergency situation she took my information receptionist told me sit down because I told her I was dizzy and then she waits till about 20 to 9 and tells me oh I can’t see you because I was more in 30 minutes late which wasn’t true and sent me away with no appointment for over a month and I have no feeling in the side of my head side of my body it’s affecting my heart whatever’s wrong and I’m going blind. I would recommend office to anyone , I don't have the privilege to address the doctor as a physician, they don't care about people as they can afford to loose one being overbooked. I may loose my life because this woman took to long to get me into the system, as she cant do her job efficiently and cost me a serious medical situation to remain to decline. She could see how badly i needed this appointment as im in grave shape but this African-American receptionist really didn't care then lies saying I was 30 minutes late when I entered at 8:16 and she took my insurance and Id and I heard her saying she misplaced my referral then turned it to look as it was my fault, which in the emergency situation Im in this was my last hope as it was imperative I be seen. I’ve been trying to get into one for a long time because he had too many patients. Loosing and leaving a human being to suffer and decline has no impact as its all about money probably trying to bill my insurance saying I missed my appointment which is a disgrace . They don’t care if they lose one person as they over book and can treat someone in dire need of help this way or knowing its causing cardiac issues complete loss of eye sight and use of my right side means nothing to her. Ive never seen such a uncaring person working at a doctors office in my life. Then seeing the trauma I was in offers no appointment for over a month knowing the seriousness if my situation. Ive lost my faith in human beings."

"I have been fortune to be a patient of Dr. Garewal for the past 4 years. I have always been treated with professionalism and respect by him and the entire office staff. Jessica, in particular, always goes the extra mile to handle any concerns I might have, and so well deserved kudos to her.
