"My daughter and I are very thankful that we were able to fly across the country and spend three days at Augustine Recovery with my son and all of the families and clients. "We knew the Augustine Recovery was a special place. However, after visiting for a family weekend we got to see the exceptional care and services provided to our loved one first hand. This is a healing community for both the clients and their families. This is evident in the programing, the facilities and the services provided. We walked into a beautiful, festively decorated space that had warm touches of home that immediately made you feel welcomed, safe and comfortable. The clients participated in the decorating and set up for the family weekend just as they do with all the cooking and clean up for their meals each day. There is accountablility and skill building included in every aspect of this intensive program. It was beautiful to see the warm and supportive connection among all involved, clients and staff. The care and concern and attention to detail is amazing. The programming for the family weekend was excellent. In the middle of all of this our loved one started to struggle in a big way. We witnessed first hand how the team works to support both client and family. They go above and beyond. This is not just work. It is personal to this staff and they will not give up on your loved one."

"I will never have enough praise to give this treatment facility and their staff. A close family member of mine ended up here after relapsing at another facility. This facility didn’t stop my loved one from relapsing a handful of times while they were actively treating him, but they also never stopped working with him. They provided him a network of support that was available and ready for him when he was ready. Their case manager kept me up to date and provided a lot of emotional support during very uncertain times as he had multiple relapses within the first six months of his treatment there. They never gave up on him and continued to provide support and assistance. I believe without question they gave him the best chance at recovery and provided tools and treatment that we couldn’t find elsewhere. My loved one has worked extremely hard on his recovery and he couldn’t be sober without his own work but without St. Augustine he wouldn’t have had a recovery family to help love him through parts of his journey no one else could. My loved one has now been sober for over 3 years and is a member of the St. Augustine team. My husband and I also participated in a very intense family weekend at the facility. It was emotionally exhausting but we found a great deal of understanding and acceptance during that weekend. We were able to make amends to each other and set new boundaries for us and our loved one moving forward. Our life truly shifted in a very powerful way as a result of the treatment provided. I will be forever grateful and can’t truly put into words what it means to know that my loved one was given the understanding, love, compassion, and acceptance that we weren’t able to give him."
