"The insurance worker lied directly to my face. I showed up for my first appointment that was confirmed two days prior and told my appointment had been canceled. The insurance woman said she had spoken with me directly to inform me of my cancelation, which my call logs contraindicated. She then said she'd left a message, which my call logs also contraindicated. A gormless office manager confirmed he did not care that the woman had lied to me, allowed me to waste the drive to the other side of town, and then said it was a "good thing", I wasn't going to see the physician that day. Consider this when making an appointment; are you looking for compassionate or efficient care? Are you looking for effective communicators? Are you looking for someone to listen and address concerns? If so, look elsewhere. Watson Clinic is across the street."

"My husband's doctor was wonderful - Dr. Bermily Maldonado-Colon. She is very knowledgeable, has a good manner, and takes her time. I could not be happier. However, we nearly left before being seen due to her partner, Dr. Jose J. Aguayo. There was not a sole in the waiting room other than my husband and myself. We were social distancing even from one another, although we live together. We were certainly more than adequately distanced from any staff. Dr. Aguayo came into the waiting area and demanded we wear our masks. Absolutely absurd. I explained it was not necessary, as we were social distancing, and that we would put them on when we were called in to see the doctor. He called me "rude," and turned on his heel. I nearly left, and was actually on the phone with my husband's primary care office requesting to be seen by a different nephrologist when we were called in. Imagine my relief when it wasn't Dr. Aguayo, who had not even the courtesy to introduce himself, or give his credentials. I would give him 1 star, and give Dr. Maldonado 5."
