"Well I had given this place good feedback accidentally on their website, mistakenly thinking it was the second emergency place I had been to. I feel silly for not double checking, but I can't endorse this place. I had to go somewhere after because they didn't even ensure that my issues were what they were (I wrongly thought I was having an allergic reaction and that ended up being untrue, but I had no way of knowing for sure I'm not a doctor). They didn't touch me or run tests or do anything but take my word for it and it was a detriment to me. The good thing is that the staff was extremely friendly and nice. That unfortunately isn't enough to be effective, Orlando Health nearby is much more thorough and I greatly wish that I could take back the positive feedback I gave on the survey sent to me for this place."

"The services provided by this HCA ER have been invaluable to our family over the past two years. We have a son with special needs who is nonverbal and has multiple sensory issues and health problems. Due to the constant stress of caring for our son, my husband and I also have several underlying health conditions. We have found that we can consistently receive exceptional care at this facility, regardless of the time of day or night. The medical professionals are highly compassionate and understanding towards our son, and they always respect our concerns and opinions. They consistently provide appropriate treatment without judgment. Additionally, we have never had to wait more than 5-10 minutes in the lobby. We would like to express our deepest gratitude to the entire staff for their exceptional service."

"This facility just charged me $4500 for a 10 minute visit. I made the mistake of visiting this ER when I cut my hand while cooking several weeks ago. It wasn't that bad of a cut, but my girlfriend insisted we go get it checked out. Upon arrival, I told the nurse that I had stopped the bleeding and that I didn't think the visit was necessary. He said "OK" and escorted me to a room, where another nurse entered and said I needed stitches. I said I did not think that was necessary and let the nurse know that I was concerned about the price of the procedure. She said "oh, we can just do butterfly stitches", in a matter that implied that it would not be a high-cost procedure. She cleaned the wound and applied the bandage, which took 5 minutes. Today, I received an EOB from my insurance company, CIGNA, in the amount of $4070. I'm responsible for $2,330. For a bandage that took 5 minutes to put on. They charged be 35.87 for the bandage and $4035 for just being inside of their emergency room. Now I'll have to go through a months long process of calling this hospital daily and reaching out to patient advocacy groups in order to get this adjusted. Unless finances are of no concern or it's a life threatening emergency, I'd highly recommend you steer clear of this facility."
