"Dr. Vu is fantastic as a provider, but the facility rules of refusing to refill a medication they put me on until I pay ANY outstanding balance (which someone else has mentioned; the random extra charges AFTER procedures that won't be mentioned, and I have one of the best insurances out there, and I'm still waiting on an explanation for) is absurd and DANGEROUS. If I abruptly stop the medication they placed me on, it could cause serious side effects, further health risks and permanent damage worse than what I was treated for, and they refuse to schedule an appointment, or a refill, until the Billing Department gives an 'OK'. I will be seeking the help of a different provider to help ween off of this medication (that can take up to a year to do appropriately). Never would have thought to be put in a dangerous situation by a MEDICAL FACILITY that are more loyal to a consumerism economy than an oath, but that's unacceptable for the prices paid. Don't get backed into a corner and stand up for your health."
