Welcome to the practice of Dr. Ebube M. Nwaigwe, MD, a distinguished board-certified gastroenterologist dedicated to providing exceptional medical care. Dr. Nwaigwe received his medical degree from the University of Nigeria, College of Medicine, and has a rich background that includes serving as a medical officer in Nigeria's National Youth Service Corps. He further honed his skills with an externship in clinical cardiology at the Heart Institute of Northwest Ohio at Lima Memorial Hospital. His comprehensive training includes an internal medicine internship, residency, and a gastroenterology fellowship at Case Western Reserve University/Metrohealth Medical Center in Cleveland.
Prior to establishing his practice in Celebration, Dr. Nwaigwe served as a staff gastroenterologist at St. Vincent and as an assistant professor of medicine in the Gastroenterology Division at the University of Texas Health Science Center in Tyler. He is board certified in both Gastroenterology and Internal Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine.

"My experience with this doctor was not positive. I was under their care for over six months for various digestive issues. During this time, they discovered a gallbladder polyp in one of my examinations and immediately recommended surgery. However, after seeking opinions from two other doctors, I was advised against surgery. Upon informing my doctor of the second opinions, they took offense and refused to carry out further testing as recommended by the other doctors. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend this clinic or doctor, as it seemed they did not prioritize my wellbeing."
