"I found my package left in the rain during a tropical storm. They don't ship items from the Ybor distribution center on time. The mail is placed in the mailbox but sometimes is damaged, wet, or opened. The automated system for calling in is specifically built to facilitate no one. Low staff could be the cause. Things need to improve. Saint Petersburg is growing every day. I hope these problems improve."
"The mail carriers here are absolutely terrible! In July one scanned my package as delivered but also scanned my package as needing to be picked up. I put in a complaint but had to go up there and ask myself. Fortunately the woman there was so nice and apparently this is a common issue. Most recently the mail carrier, not knowing I'm home, threw a do not bend envelope as hard as possible at my door. I was scared someone tried to kick in the door. Fortunately my item wasn't ruined but the envelope got a beating. Edit: they lost another package of mine and can't find it. Awesome."
"Mailman knocked on my door while I’m WFH to accuse me of stealing a package from someone down the block. Loose cannon having a mental health crisis. I put up a camera now."
"If this is your post office, good luck. If Elliot is your carrier, I recommend putting your mail on hold and picking it up yourself."
"The staff at this branch (at all levels, including management) is incredibly incompetent. I truly do not understand how any of them manage to retain their jobs. I have already filed 3 complaints regarding both this branch, and the mailmen that deliver our mail. We have lived at our new home for almost 4 MONTHS NOW, yet they are still delivering the previous tenant's mail almost daily. I am baffled by the level of incompetence. Utterly baffled. I will be filing another complaint, and I'm sure that it will not be my last. I had a list of the current residents posted by our mailbox for nearly 2 weeks.... yet that wasn't long enough? I also went in person at the end of July, and the manager on duty wrote down our names and gave me his word that he would correct the wrongdoings. I have been writing "Moved" and "Return to Sender" on every piece of mail that does not belong to us. We had an issue with one of our mailmen who thought it appropriate to BANG ON OUR DOOR until someone answered, only to tell us that we should not be writing on the mail, and that it should just be left in the mailbox... Excuse me? Where in God's name is the logic behind that? There is none, absolutely zero. This branch is a joke. You will most definitely be hearing from me again."
