Originally from the Pacific Northwest, Dr. Hyder's journey in medicine began at the United States Military Academy, where he excelled on the USMA Dean's List. He further pursued his passion for medicine at Brooklyn College, earning dual degrees in Chemistry and Biology with honors in 2008. His medical education continued at Stony Brook University, where he was inducted into the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. During this time, Dr. Hyder also completed a significant research fellowship at Rockefeller University, focusing on biomarkers in psoriasis.

Dr. Hyder's post-doctoral training included a medical internship at Richmond University Medical Center and a Dermatology residency at Stony Brook University, where he served as Chief Resident at both Northport Veterans Affairs Medical Center and Stony Brook Dermatology Residency Program. He further honed his skills at Florida State University, completing a fellowship in Mohs micrographic surgery and dermatologic oncology, with additional reconstructive surgery training under a plastic surgeon.

Outside of his professional commitments, Dr. Hyder enjoys spending time in the great outdoors, engaging in activities such as hiking and kayaking. At Luke A.
