"They were the electrician who wired our home. They did what we thought was a good job. That being said, when I went to update a light switch to a wifi enabled one-(I changed all the switches at our old house so I know what I’m doing)-I opened the box and none of the wires were the right color. No red, two black wires. Code requires that positive and negative be different colors and both were black. I emailed and sent a picture but never heard back. After over a week later I finally called and they were told they “couldn’t tell” anything by the picture. I asked where the red wire was and was told “electricians all do it differently.” They offered to come and replace the switch for free. That was months ago and they have never called to schedule. I had liked them, but knowing now the switch wiring was wrong and the lack of response and follow up…I can’t recommend them. EDITED TO UPDATE: after FOUR MONTHS of no response I got a message of “sorry to have treated you like the ex-wife, when would you like us to come out?” At this point I bypassed the switch and went to a “smart bulb” and bypassed the need for the switch. I politely explained we had moved on…this was after my previous review denoting the lack of response. (I had thought he had gone to check his reviews and saw that he hadn’t responded which is why I thought he called in the first place.) Fast forward several more months…and I got harassed by this: “Wow... you still left a negative review after I called & made an apology.” I had told him previously we had moved on with the smart bulb and that we were no longer needing services, yet he still felt the need to message me back. At this time, we had actually moved to a new house and will not be needing by the switch changed anyway. I removed a star for the continued agitation."

"I needed a surge protector double tap removed so that I could get a new insurance policy. I called Wizard Electrical to explain the issue and the owner immediately knew what I needed. They told me they do this about 300 times per year due to insurance requirements. Scott McGowan came out and changed the surge protector to remove it from the panel, along with the double tap. He moved it outside to the electric box. He explained everything very clearly and performed all the work in less than 15 minutes. He was very precise with the placement and it looks great. This is the best electric company I have ever hired. Everyone is very professional and pleasant to deal with."
