"I recently installed a new A/C compressor in my vehicle and brought it to Kevin to get the A/C system charged up after receiving several glowing recommendations for his services on the local Facebook group. So I know how to spot an honest mechanic and a shady mechanic. Kevin is clearly the former - an honest and very knowledgeable mechanic with a special interest in A/C systems. When I reached out to him he was immediately very forthcoming and communicative about his hourly rate and what he expected my end cost to be. We ended up having to wait for a part to get delivered and he was very friendly and fun to chat with while we waited. I ended up having to go back several weeks later and have him check for a leak in my system. He found a leak and clearly laid out my options for me and helped me choose the best path forward for me.
