"The judges are rude. They are in a rush to pass their cases off. If you don’t understand something they belittle you. Oh I’m so sorry for not going to law school to not understand everything. If you ask a question- be ready to be shamed in front of the court room. I had no understanding of my ticket as it’s the first time. I tried asking questions and the judge made a fool of me in the court room for asking a simple question. “I’m really annoyed that all of you don’t read the ticket” well it actually doesn’t say my question on the ticket. At all. So I ended up making the wrong choice on the ticket and now I’m stuck paying it with it going on my license. I did not understand “withholding”. I wanted it off my record as I was not guilty of it. They rushed me and made me feel bad and then I choose the wrong plea. It’s a shame."
"LOL...how do they get awards? They have the WORST reputation among the legal community in the Tampa Bay area - incompetent, over sentencing, they do not even take time to review anything. Worst of the worst. What a joke - everyone I know shivers with disgust when mentioning them."
"Ken Burke hosted our wedding ceremony at botanical gardens along with 30 other people last February and we had a magical experience. Every time I go into the office (passport, divorce, marriage, legal documents, questions) the people are helpful, quick and courteous"
"Paid for parking at the beach, but got a ticket anyway, which I never received until I got a late fee in the mail weeks later. I was told I could go on line and dispute it, but when I did I had to take my evidense to the clerks office. It was easier to just pay it. Now radio 970 said that Pinellas was posting personal info of people who had gotten tickets on their website, and there was mine for all to view and steal. When I called and complained I got hung up on. This is why NO one goes and sees an incredible winning baseball team, they're in Scamnellas. If I ever set foot in Scamnellas again it'll be too soon. No beaches, no shopping, no TB Rays. Move them to Tampa!"
"I had to write a post regarding Ken Burke. I had an issue with a ticket and I took the time to write a letter regarding my experience "knowing" it was a waste of time but I felt the need to write it anyway. I explained what had happened and offered a possible solution. I cannot put into words what I felt when my phone rang and I was actually hearing Ken Burke's voice on the other end of the line. The fact that he took the time to call me and address my concerns was something that rejuvenated my hope in the human race! This demonstrates that there are still people in public office that care about and address issues and try to make improvements in our government and our systems. Thank you Ken!"
