"Decided to patronize a down town restaurant rather than drive out of town. We returned to our vehicle to find a parking ticket. It was difficult to find a very confusing postage stamp sized sign that you would need to apparently be able to pay the parking fee with an app. Poor signage. Beware. Not very friendly to tourists, won’t be back."
"City Council viewpoint discrimination is a 1st Amendment violation. If public comments are allowed, then the public has the right to criticize government officials specifically. Stop ejecting members of the public based on illegitimate decorum rules."
"These services are outrageous! First off the activation fees are RIDICULOUS. They fine you for their errors and/or technical errors or accidents that they claim are your fault and then restrict/limit your payment options for 1 YEAR!. I have never worked with a company so unwilling to work with a customer even after sed customer agrees to pay the outlandish fees that were charged for the companies mistakes. Their payment website does not work 95% of the time. The reps are not helpful and always claim to need a supervisor and then that supervisor claims to need their supervisor. Its endless unnecessary stress. I strongly suggest not moving into the city of clearwater where you will require these services."
"I never write bad reviews but this time I have to. I called in to pay a bill and to determine what was happening with my location. I paid the exorbitant amount first (over $400 dollars for one person!) then called again through their automated system to sift through robotic options once again to inquire for more information. I was greeted by a very monotone and “matter of fact” woman on the other line who later turned out to be rather unfriendly. The problem that I was trying to discover was why all of a sudden my bill had more than doubled probably tripled since the previous month. Being a workaholic and recently removing the only other tenant from that location there is absolutely no reason for this increase in cost. All I wanted to know was what my previous month’s water usage was to determine if there were any leaks and if they offered any advice or support to help me handle this swiftly. I’m currently on a tight budget and I have to work a lot so i’m often away from home and if there’s a leak I need to know as I can’t afford it to get worse! There was non support given and the tone of the person on the “customer service” side (if you wish to call it that) was that of “yeah...not my problem... next!” I’m stifled... really!? Nothing? Can we just look at the previous months and compare the water? Is the trend up or down? Did you change the rates? Anything!? Nope. :( Like what the heck? Am I really paying $400 dollars for the most abundance resource on the planet and an apathetic customer service? That’s freakin’ lame! Also, previous months before I had my water disconnected (this was my fault as I had fallen on hard times with the previously mentioned tenant not paying his bills and having to cover) I paid the bill up to date and thought to my self “okay that’s paid, the services will resume! Whew!” They didn’t!!! Days go by and nothing!!! It should be noted that: IF YOU PAY YOUR BILL THROUGH THEIR WEBSITE AND YOU HAVE BEEN DISCONNECTED, YOU STILL HAVE TO CALL THEM DIRECTLY AND TELL THEM YOU PAID IT YOURSELF!!! THEIR SYSTEM DOES NOT LINK UP TO TELL THEM YOU PAID IT! You could go days, weeks or even months and they won’t even notice. This is organization is nothing short of a government ran monopoly that gives nothing of service back to the community, wrapped in bureaucracy and sprinkled with an “we don’t care, pay us.” Attitude. I really hate to be so negative about this but someone has to say it. Be forewarned and learn from my mistakes dear reader. P.S. Definitely keep your Confirmation numbers, you’ll need it with these guys."
"Not a single good review and not a single explanation... aparetly people are afraid to speak out. No wonder, shortly after I questioned city's actions my elderly complained me that "he's been bullied by the city representative and she refused to disclose her name". I really hope that I don't expose myself to troubles, but at this point I feel that it can't get any worse than it already is. In short, my property looks like this and have been for the past 2 months already. The sewer pipe failed beyond my property lines as I found as soon as I discovered the problem. It started with city denying that I connected with the 100% certainty. I had 3 city representatives from the Engineering Department told me that if I can provide evidences that I am connected, they will provide me my own tap to this location free of charge, I was certain that I am connected, I dig a trench, preparing the repair. I've had at least 15 meetings with the city representatives over 2 month, I proved that I am connected to the city, but instead I finally received the official responce that it will cost me 5K for the city to do that, considering that I have been connected in the past and was paying my sewer fee all this time, meaning, it isn't a new service request, I already paid to be connected as a customer. I am a student and this is bill is well beyond my financial capabilities. I've also had many good people from the city that gave their all to help, so this situation just amazes me. I'm not here to blame nobody, I just need a word of advice on how to resolve the situation where my and my elderly people isn't't jeopardized."
