"Made 2 purchases tonight totalling over $700. During the 2nd purchase I learned that Tim had to move down the road to Oreilley’s. I was instantly disappointed. Tim is the main reason for my loyalty to Advance Auto Parts. Tim was always helpful with my purchases answering all of my questions. He has a wealth of experience on completing most repairs, and willingly talks you through the tasks of your repair easily highlighting the difficulties and what to in each situation. Tim understands the quality of the different brands sold at Advance Auto Parts, and he takes the time to explain why. Any salesperson can measure their success on the ability to sell the product. Tim always made me feel confident in my purchase. Very few people move to the sales counter without some hesitation on their decision when purchasing parts. Tim is always readily available to discuss each part purchased. would venture to say that most rely on suggestions of others, because most of us should be considered only a parts changer. In the mechanic world there are a very few that are truly troubleshooters. Tim has this kind of knowledge. Anyone recognizes early in the discussion that Tim is a troubleshooter and backs up his statements with his personal experience. If I were a District Manager, I would do everything in my power to keep Tim behind my store’s counter selling parts. Even if this means paying him over and above most employees. My next purchases will be down the highway at Oreilleys where Tim is employed. So long Advance Auto Parts I am going with Tim to Oreilleys."
