"When you cancel your policy farmers takes three weeks to get you your refund. Totally unacceptable Time line."
"Damon has been a pleasure to deal with from start to finish. I love the fact that he as the owner actually picks up the phone to call me when I have a question or concern. Prayers with this agency during Hurricane Ian recovery. Richard Yow"
"I send all my customers to Damon, He is professional and makes sure they have the right insurance. Highly recommended dont wait Call him now!!"
"I received a cancellation of my insurance because they found that I had a claim, which was never asked. I informed this agency for 3 weeks in advance which they were the one writing it. Two days later, thanks to a reminder from me, they responded (".... The cancellation does not take place until December 09, 2020. We will have a policy before that." ) 48 hours before the cancellation, I sent another reminder via email. Here is the answer ("... We are aware of the cancellation date. I will have the policy to be issued by tomorrow.") The same day of the cancellation (10 hours before it expires) I wrote again. Here again the answer (".... Unfortunately, we are not able to find a home company that will allow us to write a policy for you. You would have to find a new agency that allows to bind policies with a loss history."). Impressive how some companies describe professionalism. Now I have no insurance and I wait at any time for the penalty from my bank while I find another. Nice experience with this team."
"Nothing short of a nightmare! Processed our new policy with James. A “inspector” came out on the wrong day we agreed upon. On the day we did agree upon he took photos and wind mitigation inspection for the tune of $150. We weren’t worried at this point. We then got our policy at $1154 annually. We spoke to James and agreed a monthly auto withdraw at approximately $103 would be ideal for us. During a out of town death in the direct family no less, with had a withdrawal of the full year $1154 out of our account! During this family emergency I had to make several calls with no answer from James, not surprised since they got our money, finally got a hold of someone at the office and after hours of debating they agreed to refund. My wife and I managed to move some of our savings around and decided to just keep the year pain in full and to get this done. Chapter 2; the Nightmare continues. We thought it odd when another Farmers “ inspector “ wanted to come out for more exterior photos. What did we pay the $150 for? Although odd, I took the day off and a lady from Farmers came out and did 3 minutes of photos. So, on June 11 an additional $1154 was debited from our account! No one answers at the office, no one answers there mobile phones, no one answers and email or a text. All these were answered when we’re in the process of getting the coverage, but once we signed the contract our customer service has been nothing. I’ve been on the phone for 3 hours today, mostly just leaving messages. Finally, we both called the Farmers 800 number, no help. They couldn’t even acknowledge the mistake. They did say maybe the could do a refund of $1154, MAYBE?! In 2 weeks, we’ve had over $2300 taken from our account. I did learn from the Farmers 800 representative,Tracey, that both $1154 charges were taken from the office. The same office I’ve never been to! How is this even possible? We are stressing now to pay our monthly bills since they’ve taken 2 years of annual premiums. I’ll try for the remainder of this day to get help from someone there, not very hopeful. Needless to say, we will be shopping for new homeowners insurance even if we get some help. 1 Star is too much, The nightmare continues"
