Welcome to the Manatee County Public Library, the heart of knowledge and community engagement in Bradenton, Florida. Conveniently located at 1301 Barcarrota Avenue, our library has been recognized as the Florida Library Association’s 2016 Library of the Year and is a two-time Innovation Award winner. Serving both local residents and visitors, our library system, with its eight locations, offers an extensive range of materials and cutting-edge resources to meet the diverse needs of our growing community.

In 2022 alone, our library locations were visited over 500,000 times, and our resources were utilized more than 5 million times! We are proud to provide access to eBooks and online media, as well as unique collections that include early literacy kits, hotspots, telescopes, tools, and museum passes. Our offerings also feature comprehensive databases, engaging classes, and book clubs for literary enthusiasts.
