Reviews of BioLife Plasma Services
"Cam is consistently the best tech here! She is always very friendly and extremely helpful. They need 10 more of her."
"Felt a little sketchy, the new donation promotion is very bait and switch. It only works at certain locations but they don’t tell you those locations, and the locations that it applies to have no openings. You don’t find out till you are in the physical that the compensation is a lot less. The employees were very polite and understanding, they were just doing their jobs. But I feel like the people making the decisions are not honest people. Will probably find a different place that is more upfront and a little less manipulative."
"Treated absolutely terribly by the staff today. Will not be back and already signed up for another donation program. Had my first appointment last Thursday and had an amazing experience! I unfortunately had a bad reaction but the staff there was great and took wonderful care of me. So made a second appointment for today and took a new donor with me as well. While there for my first appointment I saw the children care sign and so we took my son with us today. Before we could get to the counter one of the techs literally SCREAMED at us that no one under 18 allowed in the building while shoving her hand up and still taking care of another patient. When I mentioned the sign and pointed I was told "it's just a sign, we don't do that" by another tech and while trying to just cancel our appointments for the day the first tech continued to yell about us having a child with us. Absolutely disgusted and won't be back."
"New donor promotion is a SCAM. Very poor communication and operation at all levels. After 3 completed donations they called to inform me that the initial blood testing they perform had shown one of my blood test levels was .2 above their limit and I had to wait over 22 days for them to do the retest where guess what, my levels were actually fine. I have a voice mail from a nurse even saying this isn’t unusual and it could be a fluke. The nurse also told me two different time that the manager would be able to extend my promotional period since they take so long to process the testing. When I showed up the day I was cleared to donate again with only 1 day left of my 30 day promotion he says no because it’s “my fault”. Manager name was Ryan and he was unhelpful, rude, condescending and unprofessional from the beginning. Oh yeah and he was vaping inside the building, watched him do it while walking to the back. Do yourself a favor and go to a different donation location or company all together. It just seems really convenient that they can interrupt your new donor promotion by taking 22 days to do a simple blood test so that when you come back they don’t have to pay you the actual promotional amounts."
"Appointment time mean nothing here. I spent over 45 minutes in a line to get prescreened only to be pushed aside for new donors twice and then some other issue with questions. All while listening to the 2 employees complain about management and how they wanted to go home. Then when I asked how much longer she got rude with me and she said it's your fault where everyone could hear and was rude. Then they proceeded to complain to all other donors about me. If you don't like your job quit or be quiet."
