Welcome to the Manatee Literacy Council
Located at 3501 Cortez Road West, Suite 6, Bradenton, Florida, in the heart of the Goodwill Plaza, the Manatee Literacy Council has been a cornerstone of our community since 1978. Our mission is to unlock the power of literacy for adults in Manatee County, where 1 in 5 individuals cannot read above a fifth-grade level. Literacy is the gateway to education, financial stability, health, relationships, and empowerment, and we are committed to making a difference.
