"Had the pleasure of going to Nina brunch today. The waiter we had started out ok. Then everything went down hill when she look at the clock and notice it was almost time for them to close. My son ordered chicken and waffles. He wanted honey mustard with his food. We had to ask for the honey mustard three different times. Never got ask was the food ok never was asked do we want any refills. My sister was still eating the waiter reach over my sister food while she was eating to grab my sister grits. The grits that she was still eating on. Who grabs a person plate without asking them are they done?! At the end my sister wanted to go drink she was mad because she had to fix us some drinks to go! I’m not sure what her name is but she is the tall black one with a blond low hair cut! I will visit again but she could never be my server"
"This was our family's first time in Forney and we were looking for a place to have brunch. Another popular restaurant in the area had an over 2 hour wait so we checked on Yelp and found this gem. We took advantage of their online waitlist and waited in our car until we were notified that our table was ready. Our server was great! She was very friendly, patient, and provided excellent recommendations. Since we weren't sure if we were going to have more than 2 mimosas she suggested we get a carafe as opposed to separate mimosas and I'm glad we did. We got to take the extra to-go and that made it that much more worth it. I love that they have so much variety on their menu. I have two picky eaters in our house so it's nice when we can go to one place and everyone can get something they like. My husband ordered the Meat Lovers omelet (with some jalapenos added for spice) and he said it was really good. Both my daughters had the hamburger with fries and they ate every bite. I was having a hard time deciding because everything sounded so good, but on recommendation from our server I had the Chicken Fajita skillet (I also added jalapenos) and it was yummers! I also had the pleasure of talking to Nina who is a very sweet lady and obviously takes a great deal of pride in her restaurant. I absolutely recommend Nina's and will be back next year when we're back in the area."
"Apple sausage was delicious! Everything came out quickly and hot. Coffee has great flavor! We met the owner, Nina, at the door. She was lovely and asked if it was our first visit. That was a first. Very cool"
"I came here with my mom on a Wednesday afternoon and I was a little shocked by how busy they were! But it is summer so it’s not too surprising. There was a bit of a wait before getting seating but not too bad. Plenty of seating in the restaurant, you can get a booth if you don’t want a table. The food was AMAZING! I can’t wait to come back and try more stuff on the menu (which is VERY extensive, I must add). I’m not a drinker but my mom had the Rose & Lemon mimosa and liked it a lot. I got the garden omelette thinking it was gonna be a light bite and BOY!!! I was so FULL!!! The omelettes come with one pancake but I get an extra one (didn’t even need it). The hash browns were made to perfection and so were the pancakes. Anabelle was a great server, so glad this gem is here in Forney!"
