"The food when we finally received it was quite good. That being said, it took a full hour to receive our food. There seemed to be a lot of overall chaos, confusion and disorganization with this dining experience. We had an Open Table reservation on Saturday night of Indian Market. It took quite awhile to initially be acknowledged and seated. The manager finally came and seated us, after we were told twice by others “be with you soon”. We received water and that was it. Servers were walking past us repeatedly, with no acknowledgment. One server asked what we wanted to drink, then never came back. Another server finally asked if someone was helping us. We told her no, and she took our order. The server who finally took over our table did a good job. She apologized for the delay more than once. We finally received our hamburger at the one hour mark from our reservation time. Steer clear."

"Beautiful patio to enjoy dinner or brunch. They had live jazz music performance inside the bar but outside lacked the sonic atmosphere. I wished they had a way to play the music that was performed inside. The food was overall good quality and fresh - the mashed potatoes were the best. I enjoyed the half chicken which was very good, I would prefer more seasoned to my taste. My husband had the steak, which was perfectly prepared but wasn’t a good peace of meat to begin with. Chicken for both of us next time. Service was little bit slow but our waitress was caring and very friendly."

"Had an amazing breakfast on the patio on Monday. Made a dinner reservation for 7:45 pm Tuesday on the patio. We arrived at 7:30, and despite no one dining inside and the patio not being full, we weren’t seated until 7:58 pm. We sat at the bar from 7:30-7:58, and the bartender was sweet but had no knowledge of the wine list and missed an opportunity to sell us 2nd drinks. There was one full time waiter for several patio tables (7-8 tables), and our waiter was so busy he didn’t engage in any discussion or recommendations despite my efforts (I’m an involved diner that loves an experience). We ordered 2 appetizers and a salad + additional drinks, and it took so long for our server to return that we only ordered 1 entree instead of 2. We finished our apps and salad and waited 28 minutes on our venison before seeking a manager. By the time the venison arrived, we asked for it to be packaged to go. Management was apologetic, and removed the entree and 4 drinks from the bill. I would have preferred the full bill and the dining experience I expected. We still tipped the server accordingly because staffing wasn’t his fault, but he wasn’t apologetic at all, and was never friendly. It is a beautiful location with very good food, but a shame it’s not staffed to provide a proper dining experience. Very disappointing. Pictures are before the wait became ridiculous. There were no complaints about the food… If only the service could have matched it…"

"A top notch restaurant in Santa Fe. Exquisite atmosphere, dining and service. The food is delicious. As expected prices are high, but they are backed up by great tasting preparations. Whether indoors, or outdoors, you will enjoy this place."

"Luminaria is an absolute gem deserving of five stars and beyond. Our recent experience at this restaurant left us so impressed. I called to reserve a table for a very special occasion: our friend's proposal celebration brunch. From the moment I spoke with Maisie, I knew we were in good hands. Maisie's warmth and attentiveness made the booking process seamless, and she assured me that everything would be taken care of. Little did we know, Maisie had a surprise in store for us. Upon our arrival, we were ushered into a private room adorned with elegant decor, setting the perfect atmosphere for our celebration and making the abode and Groom truly feel like VIP's. Maisie greeted us with celebratory tequila shots, adding an extra touch of excitement to the occasion. The breakfast spread was delicious and each dish was bursting with flavor. What truly stood out though, was the impeccable service. The staff tended to our every need with grace and professionalism, ensuring that we felt like VIPs throughout our entire experience. I cannot express enough gratitude to Maisie and the entire staff at Luminaria for making our celebration so unforgettable. We left feeling truly pampered and grateful for the exceptional hospitality. Without a doubt, we will be returning to Luminaria in the future. Thank you for exceeding our expectations and making the Bride and Grooms special day even more memorable."
