"I was there this morning. 12-7-22 to open a checking account. This guy ( banker) told me will take a good 45 min for that. After 15 minutes I was declined. Yes “ decline “ to open a checking account. Weird. I just left to the next dor PNC bank. Wonderful service. Very professional bankers. I open the account in less then 10 min including having my debit card. I went back to the Bankunited and I show them my new account with PNC. Very unprofessional people in that branch."

"I would normally not take the time to write a review unless I had an excellent experience. This time it was so horrible I was moved to warn others. I walked into thank United with a check made out to me from a business. I wanted it turned into a few cashier's checks to pay off some creditors. I did not want to waste any time and paying them. Also there's an investment I wanted to make time of essence. They would not cash the check, they would not make cashier's checks out to the other party's per my request. They would only make a cashier's check back out to me for me to put into my own bag and now wait for it to clear. Unacceptable and ridiculous."
