"7/6/24 Update: I went to replace this oil filter today. We are on a boat and don’t use the genset much so it takes time between oil changes. I took off the old oil filter and found the new oil filter from Advance was WRONG again!!! SO I was out TWO trips by bicycle to Advance in 90 degree heat, and $20 for the wrong oil filter for the second time. Advance did write following my first review to say they were sorry, but that doesn’t help much. I know to never visit that store again. See photo of wrong filter. Unbelievable. Headed to Autozone now to get the right one. Had to ride my bike from the fort Pierce Marina in 92 deg temps to get a simple oil filter for our generator on our boat. I gave them the Kohler number and they matched it up with a fram filter so I bought two of them and biked back to the boat. When I got there, I discovered the oil filters were not even close to the size for my generator. So I biked back and returned them and they acted like they were doing me a favor by refunding me. They acted bothered that they had to deal with me, even after I bought a puralater filter from them for three times the price as the original fram. No apologies, no explanations, just poor service."

"Steer clear of this place, I took my cylinder heads in to be checked and cleaned 1 week turned into 2 weeks then 3 weeks and now 4 which I just picked up, nothing but excuses after excuses from the machinery guy. I was told $360 for my head job then when I picked them up I was given a $499 tab which is unacceptable.NEVER again would I do business here."
