"The most biased news channel in the area. They used to give fairly equal coverage on both sides until about 6 months ago. Now they are bowing to Kamala."
"Elsa off our coast and we go to Normal broadcasting. Ian approaching and it's sports. Then rave about how well informed you kept community. After landfall yes, weekend before NOT SO MUCH."
"In 45 years of living through storms here this coverage of Ian was the worst I have ever seen. Understandable the big focus was on Port Charlotte area, however thousands of residents in Naples and Bonita Springs would have liked some mention of what to expect in our area as well. Wish we had the experienced Meteorologist of the 90s and 2000 again."
"They have gone full fake news. If you are a liberal and don't want to know about how corrupt the government is you are watching the right channel. Dave Elias is a hard left hack, in the worst way. When you have political activists acting as journalists your country is in deep, deep trouble. The most successful territories in the world operate on conservative principles, think Naples, think Singapore, low tax, low crime, beautiful living. The worst living in the world comes from socialist principals, think Cuba, Venezuela, former Soviet Union. Socialism is great until you run out of people to tax, the wealthy will go elsewhere as they have the means to do so. So many don't understand any of this due to fake news such as nbc2, aka state media. Fun fact- George Soros has stakes in ALL U.S. mainstream media except for a handful of conservative outlets. He pays handsome salaries to board members. He also funded campaigns for over 70 district attorneys recently elected that are not prosecuting felonies and emptying prisons all over the country. Again you would not know of any of this watching corporate media. 2 years into biden and our standards of living are already headed to the toilet and about to get much worse. They can get away with it if there is an uninformed public."
"When the powerful use their position to bully others, we all lose ... We need the principled press to hold power to account, to call them on the carpet for every outrage. That’s why our founders enshrined the press and its freedoms in our Constitution." – Meryl Streep, Golden Globes, .My Mother, other than being a school board administrator was a NBC journalist for over thirty years. I have been very proud of both competitive agencies Wink and Wbbh for doing a fine job bringing certain concerns to light. Mary Johnson would be very proud of you , and Thank you for good journalism."
