"I used Affordable Moving Service & Storage in January 2024. I initially called and spoke to a guy named Will, who was really professional and gave me a quote over the phone, as well sent me a follow up email with the quote. He addressed a lot of my concerns, but I was still not quite ready to commit to their services as I wanted to make sure we were getting the best price. So, I got 2-3 more quotes, and after reading reviews and getting higher quotes from other companies, I went with Affordable Moving Service & Storage and I am really glad I did. They sent four guys over and two trucks (we requested an extra truck to make it go faster) and they busted their butts. They were very kind, polite, and respectful of our stuff as if it was their own. Nothing got damaged or ruined in the move which was really relieving, since you hear a lot of horror stories out there. They also helped relocate some heavy furniture that was already in the house to another room. Then after the move, a guy named John followed up to see how we felt about the experience. Very professional. I forgot to call him back, but I hope this review makes up for it. I totally recommend going with Affordable Moving Service & Storage."

"I cannot make this up. I am currently deployed in Europe working for the U.S Army. My wife was offered an amazing position with the Space Force in Huntsville, AL. She did her due diligence looking for a moving company in Cape Coral to move our things to Huntsville and chose Affordable Moving and Storage. That's where the nightmare began. On January 20th 2024, the movers came to get our belongings. We were told everything would be delivered with 4 days. On the 24th, my wife started calling the company because our things had not been delivered. She was told that the truck had broke down in Georgia and they were waiting for a part to fix it. It should be fixed the next day and then it would be on it's way. The next day came and went. She called again. She was told that the part was installed and that didn't fix it so they were looking for another truck. By this time, I am getting concerned that we have been scammed and leave multiple messages and emails from Europe. I get sob stories from the owner via email that he has been in the hospital and is super sorry about the delay, they are going to get a truck tomorrow (this is now the 29th). On the 30th we get an email telling us the "truth". This company was using a Penske truck that had been reported stolen for 2 months to move our things. The driver was pulled over in Voldosta, GA and arrested. The truck and all of our things were impounded first at the Cook County impound and then at the Penske site on Gil Ind. in Voldosta. He said they had been trying to get our stuff released but Penske would not release it until an investigation could be performed. Over the next 4 days, my wife and I worked through the Voldosta police, Cook County Sheriff, Penske Corporate Security, Penske Legal and another local moving company to get our things released and moved to Huntsville. Penske would only release our belongings after they verified it was only our belongings on the truck so they had to go through our belongings to find our marriage license and we had to send photo ids and address verifications. Our things finally got to Huntsville yesterday. An entertainment center and desk broken and an X-Box and the headset that goes with it missing. We obviously do not recommend this company."
