"First let me say that my son and I had previously visited this library twice before where we were welcomed and helped. A lady that had been a school teacher or administrator and a younger lady with dark hair was AMAZING, on those visits. But we went today 1/4/2024 around 1:15 PM and our experience went from a 5 star experience to a I WILL NEVER SET FOOT IN THAT LIBRARY AGAIN experience. Though I was nice and respectful they were short. I was working on a word document on the computer, when our time was cut short....even though my son and I were the ONLY patrons in the library. Those 2 old women should not be representing the community, in any way. Both were just nasty!"

"Being a new resident and retired teacher, I wanted get a library card and find out more about my community. Sue Ann Burkhardt was and is welcoming and helpful. She is kind to all patrons helping with their computer, copying and printing needs. She knows many patrons by name and their favorite authors and advises when new books are in. She remains focused even while multi tasking many of these things at once. She's encouraging, appreciative, collaborative, and supportive of my volunteer efforts including starting a toddler to Pre-K Storytime. I'm so happy she's at the Luther Callaway Public Library."
