"My appointment was at 8. I am almost 2 hours in and still sitting in the waiting area! There are too many people clocked in to be waiting this long! This is unacceptable! As the patient my time is not being considered"
"My first mammogram was a nightmare. I hurt so bad with breast soreness and tenderness for a whole week. So when they called me back for a second scan, I put it off for 6 months. My pcp finally caught up to me and said I really need to go back, so I did. I got a sweet lady, named Emily, who took good care of me and not 1 time did it hurt or feel too uncomfortable. I am glad that she showed me that mammograms aren't as bad as my first experience. I hope to get her in my future visits."
"My mother went to your establishment and from what she stated to me I'm not sure if you're a medical suite or butcher shop. The roller coaster ride she went though sent her blood pressure thought the roof and that brought it's own problems on considering she has a heart murmur. Your surgen did not wait for the administered lidocaine to take effect before you started slicing into her for your samples. And when she cried and told you that she was in pain and could feel when you where cutting, your surgen stated that she could either "push through the pain" or reschedule at a later date. My mother did state that your nurseing staff was very good. I'm not saying you need to have glorious bedside manner but maybe have some patience before you start a procedure and try listening to your client while they are in your care. s"
"I chose to go the the Breast Care Center in downtown Macon for a repeat ultrasound and biopsy due to a slight abnormality discovered during my first ever mammogram. The staff was very nice, friendly, helpful and so patient with me. I'd like to especially recognize two RNs there, Kathy and Teresa. Teresa was the nurse that explained the procedure to me; telling me what was going to happen, what the doctors would be doing, and aftercare. After the initial examination, I met with Dr Paul Dale, who really put me at ease and explained my options. Although they felt that there was little to be concerned about, I chose to have the biopsy. RN Kathy performed the pre-biopsy ultrasound; she was super friendly and wanted to be sure that I was ok throughout the procedure and really made me feel so calm. So comforting to be among professionals who do their job so well and have such great people skills. Radiologist Marcus Evan performed the actual biopsy. It was over before I knew it and I was on my way home. Highly recommend the Breast Care Center. Thank you!!! *^_^* (Sabrina J)"
"Here with a friend who’s getting a breast biopsy and this place is amazing. The staff (Theresa) is so friendly and going above and beyond to explain the process to my friend. Her kindness and reassurance is making my friend 100% more comfortable. She made absolutely sure my friend understood the procedure and the after care. If you’re looking for an office that will treat you as if you were they’re only patient, this is the place to be. And, the coffee and pastries in the waiting room are amazing and a nice touch (thanks Jill)"
