The also have helpful, informative private bankers and a trust lawyer on staff to assist you in a total financial plan. I trust this bank and this branch to take good care of my funds and I have had great service at the Garden street main branch."
"1. On the one hand, they gave Us the loan, so We are grateful. 1a. And they are very nice people: Mr. Seals, Mrs. Thackerson, and Mrs. Prather. All very kind, friendly, likeable people. 2. But on the other hand, errors were committed by Hancock Whitney at every stage of the loan, to include: 2a. The application (I was told that their software automatically cancels a loan application at the 45 day mark, so We were asked to apply and have Our credit pulled twice); 2b. The servicing (a mis-applied payment that took two months and the involvement of Mrs. Thackerson to fix); 2c. Conclusion of the loan (after more than 90 days from paying the loan in full, and two email requests, and the involvement of Mrs. Prather, the Satisfaction of Mortgage was finally recorded in the Official Records). 3. In sum: nice people over there, but Hancock Whitney is a hot mess, and so Our future business goes to a less dysfunctional bank because of that."
