"Having had great experiences with FSU Credit Union in the past, they were our “go to” for a loan to buy our travel trailer. Buying from a private party in another state five hours from home posed complications in transferring our loan proceeds to the seller’s account so they’d have immediate access. If we’d had to wait for the loan check to clear at the seller’s bank, we’d have had to leave the trailer there and make another 10-hr round trip to pick it up days later. She drove the check to a local branch of our seller’s bank, spoke with the manager to ensure the seller would have next day access and deposited the check.
